No Mercy Extreme Fighting
"Annihilation XXV"
 
Saturday April 03, 2010 the No Mercy Extreme Fighting show was held at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium.  There were ten bouts including 4 titles on the line and three professional bouts.
 
Main event: Rocky Johnson defeated Vinnie Vigil by armbar for the No Mercy Extreme 155 lb. professional title.  Johnson got a quick takedown then after escaping a guillotine choke he worked to full mount, flurried with GNP then spun for the title winning armbar at 3:09 of round one.
 
Co-Main event: Justin Guthrie defeated Kenneth Seegrist by majority decision for the No Mercy Extreme 195 lb. professional title.  All three rounds played out with Guthrie scoring multiple takedowns and working GNP while Seegrist was able to continuously work back to standing to work strikes.
 
Ramico Blackmon defeated Forrest Clouse by unanimous judges decision in a professional bout.  In both rounds Blackmon was able to score multiple takedowns and control position to work GNP while Clouse worked for submission attempts.
 
Jay Jackson defeated Tim Radcliff by TKO for the No Mercy Extreme 175 lb. amateur title.  The fighters exchanged standing strikes then Jackson got a takedown, took mount and got the GNP TKO stoppage at 1:33 of round one.
 
Mike Siedelberg defeated Evan Conver by unanimous decision.  Siedelberg was able to score takedown in all three rounds and control position to implement his GNP while Conver worked to defend and tried for submissions.
 
Marcus Edwards defeated Estaban Hinostrada by armbar.  Edwards got a takedown and worked GNP until he heard the 10 second clacker at which time he spun for the armbar to get the win at 2:58 of round one.
 
Leonard Griego defeated Travis Aragon by guillotine choke.  Round one was mostly Aragon working GNP and Griego getting a sweep for his own GNP to end the round.  Round two had Aragon taking a shoot, but Griego got head control, pulled guard and closed off the guillotine choke for the win at :22 of round two.
 
Ken Laird defeated Adam Vigil by RNC.  After a takedown Laird worked his way to back control and sunk in the RNC for the win at 2:16 of round one.
 
Guy Knight defeated Phil Campanella by Americana shoulder lock.  Campanella initiated the takedown, but Knight landed on top in order to set up the submission from side control before transitioning to full mount for the tapout victory at 1:57 of round one.
 
Jeremy Krance and Cody Freeman battled back and forth, mostly on the ground in an exhibition match that showcased the skills of both.
 
"Of the night" moments:
 
Submission of the night and GNP of the night both go to Marcus Edwards.  Edwards worked a flurry of GNP that seemed to last all round before hearing the ten second clacker and closing off the armbar with just two seconds left in the round.
 
Slam of the night goes to Justin Guthrie for picking up his opponent by the waist, raising him several feet off the ground then effecting a big slam early in the bout.
 
KO/TKO of the night goes to Jay Jackson for his title retaining GNP that got him the win in round one of his bout.
 
Fight of the night goes to Justin Guthrie and  Kenneth Seegrist.  The combatants battled nonstop with a pace that would be appropriate in a featherweight bout.  There was back and forth action with each having the other in danger multiple times and each able to work out of bad positions time and time again.
